Is Brandon Jack James the Same Person as Brandon Davis?
The sources point to yes. Two records support the link.
First, TV Guide lists “Brandon Jack James Davis” as the birth name on the Brandon Davis profile. A birth name is the full name a person was given at birth. So “Brandon Jack James” is part of his full name.
Second, Vogue’s 2024 event story calls Ashley Benson’s husband “Brandon Jack James.” The photo caption in the same story calls him Brandon Davis. That shows both names point to one person in the same piece.
The American Film Institute page for Who’s Your Daddy? lists both Brandon Davis and Brandon Jack James in the cast. It does not explain why. So that page alone does not prove the link. We also did not find a source that explains why one name or the other is used in a given credit.

Two notes will help you search. The records do not say how big each part was, so do not assume he had a lead role in every title. Also, the sources give different years for Who’s Your Daddy?. TV Guide and IMDb point to 2002, while AFI lists January 7, 2004. We left the year out of the table for that reason.
If you search a film database, try both “Brandon Davis” and “Brandon Jack James.” Some credits may sit under one name and some under the other. We did not check IMDb’s full page, so use TV Guide as your starting point.

PEOPLE reported on February 29, 2024 that the couple had welcomed their first child. Its original announcement did not share additional details about the newborn. PEOPLE later identified their daughter as Aspen in a June 2024 report.
How the couple met is not covered in the sources we used. The Us Weekly timeline starts with that first public sighting in January 2023.
Brandon Jack James’s Family Background
PEOPLE says Brandon Davis is the grandson of oil tycoon Marvin Davis. The Los Angeles Times obituary for Marvin Davis describes his oil-business fortune. It also says he owned 20th Century Fox.
Us Weekly names Nancy Davis as Brandon’s mother. Encyclopedia.com lists Brandon among Nancy Davis’s children. These two sources support the family link.
Keep one point clear. The records show that his grandfather had a large fortune. They do not show how much money Brandon has. Family wealth and personal wealth are not the same thing.
Some sites also list his school history, business deals and other private details. We did not find strong sources for those, so we left them out.
Brandon Jack James Age and Birthday
His exact age is not confirmed. Two reliable outlets disagreed on the same day. On February 29, 2024, PEOPLE called him 43 and Us Weekly called him 45.
IMDb’s listing shows December 9 as his birthday. That is the only birthday detail we found. Some websites list 1980 as his birth year, which fits PEOPLE’s reported age of 43 in February 2024. However, Us Weekly reported his age as 45 that day. Another website lists 1989, which fits neither report. His birth year remains unverified.
The honest answer is that his age is unclear. We will not guess a number. Check back if a reliable source shares his birth year.
Brandon Jack James Net Worth
No reliable figure for his personal net worth was found. Net worth means the total value of what a person owns, minus what they owe.
Several websites give estimates, and the numbers are far apart. None of them points to a financial record or a public filing to back up its number. Without proof, those figures are guesses.
What we can say is that his grandfather’s fortune is documented. That does not tell us what Brandon himself owns.
