You can jump straight to the season you need. If you just finished an episode and want to remember what happened before it, or you’re catching up before the next season, each section works on its own. Season 1 Overview
Season 1 premiered in March 2021 with eight episodes. It introduces Mark Grayson as he gets his powers and starts training under his father, Nolan, who the world knows as the superhero Omni-Man. The early episodes follow Mark as he balances normal teenage life with his first steps into being a hero.
As the season moves forward, attacks on Earth’s heroes raise the stakes. Mark also starts to notice that the version of his father the world knows does not match the man he sees at home. The second half of the season becomes much darker and ends with a major reveal about Nolan that changes the story going forward.
By the end of Season 1, Mark is dealing with the fallout from his father’s true nature. This sets up a more difficult path for him as a hero in Season 2.
Season 2 Overview
Season 2 also has eight episodes. It was released in two batches, with the first half arriving in late 2023 and the second half following in early 2024. The season begins with Mark still dealing with what happened in Season 1 while trying to rebuild trust with the people around him, including his mother, Debbie.
New threats appear from different directions, including conflicts involving aliens and a mysterious figure connected to alternate versions of Mark. The season also spends more time on the personal cost of Mark’s double life, especially as his relationships with Amber and Eve change.
Season 2 also expands the story beyond Earth. It introduces more of the wider universe and shows more of the conflicts between different worlds. By the end, Mark is facing problems that reach far beyond his own city, setting up a larger and more dangerous Season 3.
Season 3 Overview
Season 3 premiered in February 2025 with eight episodes. This season gives more time to the wider group of heroes, including Cecil Stedman and other members of the hero community, while Mark’s story continues.
The season deals with the results of earlier alliances and betrayals. Mark also faces situations where making the right choice is not always easy. Several storylines run at the same time, including threats connected to the Global Defense Agency and growing tension around the Viltrumite Empire that shaped Nolan.
Season 3 ends with several plot threads still open, pointing toward larger conflicts ahead. The season also follows several storylines at the same time.
Season 4 and What Comes Next
Season 4 released its first three episodes on March 18, 2026. The remaining episodes followed weekly, with the eighth and final episode released on April 22, 2026. Like the first three seasons, Season 4 has eight episodes.
The season pushes Mark’s conflict with the Viltrumite Empire into a more serious stage. The finale brings Mark face to face with Thragg and sets up the next stage of the story.
Invincible has been renewed for Season 5, which is expected to debut in 2027. Season 6 has also been officially renewed, so the story will continue beyond Season 5. As with any unreleased season, specific plot details that have not been officially confirmed should be treated as speculation rather than fact.
